Christian Film Festival Coming up! 2011
Carissa, and myself are co-directing a short film the summer of 2011, for the local christian film festival. Everything is set to go, and we are ready to start filming. We did a practice round of the first scene. The storyline is about Zach, who is going on a missions trip to China. But when plans change and he suddenly can't go, he must learn to accept what God is doing and to pursue His will, even if it isn't what we want at first. Here is a preview of the first scene, which shows Zach preparing to leave. He doesn't realize that while he was so excited about his trip, he has neglected everything else, including his own family and sister Sarah. This first scene illustrates how he has ignored his family and has only cared about his trip. His sister Sarah is fed up with it. (Pretend that I, the girl in blue, is Zach. Just imagine...)
